Early Bird helps you get out of bed on time. Your alarm will not turn off until you get up and tap your phone on the Early Bird block. No more snoozing. No more staying in bed and scrolling.

How does it work?
Set up your alarm
Open the Early Bird App and create your first alarm. It only takes a few seconds.
Choose your alarm sound, select which apps you want blocked, and customize your morning.
Place your Early Bird Block
Put your Early Bird Block in your bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere away from your bed.
It's small, wireless, and stays right where you need it.
Your alarm goes off
Your alarm rings in the morning. You can use one snooze if you have it enabled.
But you can't turn the alarm off from bed. To stop it, you have to get up.
Tap and start your day
Walk over to your Early Bird Block and tap it with your phone.
Your alarm turns off. You're already out of bed. Morning started.
WHY EARLY BIRD WORKS
Built around decades of sleep and behavioral science.
🛏️ Get Out of Bed - Not Just Awake
Traditional alarms can be silenced without ever leaving your pillow. Early Bird requires you to physically get up and tap your Block before the alarm stops. That movement helps interrupt the groggy period scientists call sleep inertia and makes falling straight back asleep much harder.
Research: A Harvard Medical School study found that alertness and cognitive performance are significantly impaired immediately after waking due to sleep inertia, with recovery occurring gradually after getting up.
Jewett et al., Journal of Sleep Research (1999)
⏰ Break the Snooze Cycle
Snoozing repeatedly pulls you between sleep and wakefulness instead of actually starting your morning. Early Bird removes that loop by making your first alarm a reason to physically leave bed instead of pressing another button.
Research: A laboratory study found that snooze alarms repeatedly shifted sleepers between wakefulness and light sleep and concluded that repeated forced awakenings may prolong sleep inertia.
⚡ Beat Morning Grogginess With Movement
Research on waking shows that sleep inertia can temporarily reduce alertness and cognitive performance. Studies have also found that physical activity immediately after waking can reduce feelings of sleepiness. Early Bird gets your body moving from the moment your alarm goes off.
Research: In a controlled laboratory study, people who performed brief physical activity immediately after waking reported significantly less sleepiness than those who remained sedentary.
🧠 Stop Relying on Morning Willpower
Half-awake you is really good at saying, “five more minutes.” Behavioral science shows that people follow through more consistently when an intended action is tied to a specific cue. Early Bird turns waking up into a simple rule: alarm rings → get up → tap the Block.
Research: A meta-analysis of 94 independent tests found that linking a specific cue to a predetermined action significantly improved goal follow-through, helping turn intentions into action.
Gollwitzer & Sheeran, Advances in Experimental Social Psychology (2006)
☀️ Start Your Morning in the Right Environment
Put your Early Bird Block in your bathroom, kitchen, or near a bright window. Instead of waking up in a dark bedroom and immediately lying back down, you begin your morning standing, moving, and exposed to more light - all signals associated with wakefulness and alertness.
Research: A meta-analysis of 29 controlled studies involving 1,210 people found that light exposure significantly improved both subjective and objectively measured alertness.

Shamil T. Sept. 2026Verified BuyerNice ProductReal quick. it works. Snooze loop broken in 3 days. My wife says I owe her an appology for being skeptical and at this point shes not wrong. Magnet on the dock is sturdy enough for the fridge door. Sound library has one I can actually tolerate at 5:30am. The end.Early Bird Block Was this helpful? 0 0

Gio M. May 2025Verified Buyer5 starsI have a real problem with morning self disipline. Phone-across-the-room didnt work because I literally sleepwalked over to turn it off. The scan-the-dock thing requires enough motor planning that my brain has to actually wake up. Thats the trick. Five stars.Early Bird Block Was this helpful? 22 0
